TT legend John McGuinness is raring for glory at Isle of Man
John McGuinness, TT legend, and Manx resident Conor Cummins will form a two-man squad in the Honda Motor Europe Honda Racing Team at this year's Isle of Man TT and Vauxhall International North West 200.
Honda will provide factory-backed Superbike machinery for both men at the aforementioned events, with Jackson Racing supplying additional support in the Supersport and Superstock classes.
Cummins will ride Jackson machinery in both Supersport and Superstock trim, with McGuinness receiving Supersport backing only after opting to run his own team in the Superstock class.
Rumour has it McGuinness will run the number 25 on his machinery in 2015, signifying his 25th year of competition. Should he run number 25 at the TT, it would offer up a formidable challenge for the 42-year-old, who has racked up 21 Isle of Man TT wins - five short of the late, great Joey Dunlop.
After a year of injury troubles, McGuinness is looking forward to getting back to action, as he said: "I'm ready to put it behind me and get back to winning. I can't wait to prove there's life in the old dog yet."
