Ignore Bayern Munich at your peril

Most people will be of the opinion that Wembley's Champions League final will be an El Clasico, between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

And that makes for great value on the best of the four semi-finalists Bayern Munich, who can take care of Barca, especially if Lionel Messi is not fit.

Bayern are Europe's top team, having secured the Bundesliga in comfortable fashion. They are already 20 points in front of Borussia Dortmund whom they could well meet at Wembley, as the latter have an excellent chance of beating Madrid. They have already taken four points off them in the group stages.

Munich are 6/4 to reach Wembley and the same price for a German outright victory has to be great value as opposed to 8/13 Spain.

Bayern deserve to emerge victorious after last year's luckless final against Chelsea and the 3/1 currently to do so represents a bet worth having.

Dortmund are unbelievable 13/2 outsiders and a generous 2/1 to be in the final.

Deutschland uber alles.
