Coventry beaten again

Coventry slipped to their sixth successive defeat after a 3-1 defeat to Belfast.

After a goalless first two periods, the game exploded into life when Cody Brookwell opened the scoring, with Darryl Lloyd doubling the Giants' lead soon after.

Although the Blaze pulled one back through Justin DaCosta, David Phillips sealed victory for the Northern Irish side soon after.

Elsewhere, Matthew Myers, Doug Clarkson, Joey Haddad, Joey Martin and Andrew Hotham were all on-target as the Cardiff Devils crushed the Fife Flyers 5-0.
