Carrickfergus are all fired up to win battle of the big guns
Carrickfergus will be desperate to prove that last week's defeat by North Down was only a blip when last year's top two meet in the Premier League tomorrow.
Pat Botha's side were the last to lose their unbeaten record, when they conceded 253 at Comber and, despite 58 from Ryan Eagleson, in reply they fell a distant 82 runs short.
But when defending champions Instonians visit Middle Road they will start favourites as they recovered from defeat by CIYMS to beat Waringstown and, last week with a James Shannon century, Civil Service North.
Elsewhere, all eyes will be on Moylena where Waringstown return just two weeks after losing there in the Challenge Cup, knowing they cannot afford a third successive league defeat.
There is only one team below them in the league and it gets no easier for Civil Service North who must visit CIYMS, while two teams who seem to be on the up meet at Wallace Park as Lisburn host North Down who welcome back Neil Russell.
