Ireland claimed third place in the ICC World Twenty20 qualifiying play-off against Hong Kong despite no action taking place at Malahide on Sunday.

Rain washed out play in Dublin leaving Ireland to finish third and Hong Kong fourth in the third-place play-off.

The final between Holland and Scotland is scheduled to be held at the same venue later in the afternoon.
