Ireland's second Twenty20 international against Hong Kong was abandoned without a ball bowled at Bready, meaning Hong Kong win the series 1-0.

The prospects of play looked bleak when the women's T20 clash between Ireland and Bangladesh failed to get under way in the morning.

And the condition of the outfield did not improve enough to allow the men to take the field either, denying Ireland the opportunity to respond to Hong Kong's 40-run win on Monday.
