Eglinton won their first Long's SuperValu Premiership game of the season with a sensational chase against Ardmore at The Bleachgreen.

Professional Oraine Williams with an undefeated 102 - his second six, to go with four other boundaries, won the match - saw the visitors reach their target of 292 with a ridiculous 17 balls to spare.

He received superb support from Ross Allen in a fifth wicket stand of 93 from Ross Allen who scored 42 and then Richard Wylie played his part scoring exactly half of the remaining 36 runs to leave Ardmore stunned.

Home professional Marlo Jardine was the game's top scorer with 12, which included 16 fours, and his third wicket partnership of 137 with Decker Curry set Ardmore up for what appeared to be a winning total.

Eglinton are back in action tomorrow night against Strabane, while Drummond start their game with Coleraine tonight.
