Meanwhile, this year's Cookstown 100 Road Races will again be headline sponsored by local company KDM Hire on April 25 & 26, which is good news for local teams Tyco Suzuki and Burrows' Engineering -- who will be bringing leading International Road Racers William Dunlop and Dan Kneen to the Spring event.
KDM Managing director Keith McIvor commented: "The Cookstown 100's short road circuit makes for a brilliant exciting event, drawing a large crowd from near and far. It's a pleasure to be involved with the organising team and we look forward to another safe and successful race day."
Ballymoney's William Dunlop, who will spearhead the attack for his new team Tyco Suzuki at the County Tyrone event, said: "The Cookstown is always a great way to start the season, and after a couple of tests recently in Spain, I'm really looking forward to making debut there with Tyco Suzuki."
"With Guy away racing at B'ol D'Or that weekend, it's up to me to get some top results for Suzuki and our sponsors Tyco," he added. Dunlop will be bringing his Tyco Suzuki Superbike and Supersport machines to the event.
Manxman Kneen is a high-profile newcomer to the Orritor Circuit, but should be well in the mix on the Cookstown B.E. Racing Superbike and Supersport machinery. Team owner John Burrows said: "Dan will ride the team's Suzuki Superbike; the 600cc Honda we bought from World Supersport team PTR and a 650cc Kawasaki Supertwin."
