Five star Johnny shines as Brugha march into the semis

Belfast side Cathal Brugha reached the semi-final of the Irish Senior Cup when they followed a 17-4 win over Corrib (Galway) with an equally convincing 16-4 defeat of Clonard at the NAC in Dublin.

Clonard came into this game high on confidence after a surprise 10-10 draw against Half Moon in their opening game but apart from the early stage when they led 2-1 the result was never in doubt.

Johnny Donnelly (five), Nathan Taylor (three),Nathan Hanna, Dermy Campfield (two each), Stephen Durkan, Adrian Hanna,Dessie Donnelly and Adrian Hanna (one each) scored for the winners.
