Michael O'Neill has challenged his players to write their names in Northern Ireland football history.

Victory against the Faroes in Torshavn tonight could put Northern Ireland just one game away from securing automatic qualification to their first ever Euro finals.

It's something no player from here has ever managed, but the likes of Roy Carroll, Jonny Evans, Chris Baird, Steven Davis and Kyle Lafferty are so close now.

"This is a real opportunity for these players to have their international careers significantly remembered. Getting to the finals would be their reward and a great indication of how far this team has come," said O'Neill.
