“Spectaculaire” was how Jimmy Nesbitt described Northern Ireland’s historic win over Ukraine last night as he partied with fans in Lyon.
The actor paid tribute to the hosts of the tournament with a few words of broken French after celebrating the team’s 2-0 victory over Ukraine - showing he had no cold feet.
Jimmy recorded the special message for Tweedies Bar back in Antrim and in another video, he was caught dancing to fan favourite Sweet Caroline.

Encouraged to say something in French, Jimmy mutters a few words before declaring that the win was “spectaculaire”.
Darren Ryles said that Jimmy joined the Green and White army on a pub crawl around Lyon.
The night was going so well that Darren missed his lift to Geneva to get a flight home and he’s now having to stay for another night in Lyon.
But he said: “He is a great guy, loves NI and is immensely proud of our wee country.
"It was surreal to be at the game and see our boys play so well and what better way to finish off than doing tequilas at four in the morning with Jimmy Nesbitt.”
