Brendan Rodgers is looking for his Celtic side to develop into a Champions League threat over the next few years.

The Carnlough man takes his Hoops charges to Borussia Monchengladbach tonight needing a win to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the last 16.

Rodgers, though, believes that the Scottish champions can be one of Europe's elite clubs in the future.

"It's a major challenge for us but it's a great challenge to have," he stated. "Each year we can arrive here we can improve on it and hopefully get to the latter stages consistently."
