Play acting is not our style, says Martin Jol

Martin Jol insists no Fulham player would play act in the same way that saw Moussa Dembele sent off against Wisla Krakow last month.

The incident occurred when an innocuous passage of play flared up in Poland, with Dembele pushing over Wisla's Gervasio Nunez after he caught him on the back of the ankle.

The Argentinian midfielder went down clutching his face despite being pushed at shoulder height, leading referee Martin Hansson to hand the Belgium international a straight red card.

The Cottagers face the Polish champions once again tonight (8.05pm) in Europa League Group K and Jol is keen to make amends for an “awful night” in Poland. “I would have a word with [my player if they did what Nunez did] because it is not our style, he said. “You won't see that in our team.”
