Ferguson ready to enter history books

If Newcastle United’s Shane Ferguson, comes off the bench tonight, he will be the sixth youngest player ever to appear for Northern Ireland at 17-years and 156 days.

Samuel Johnston at 15 years and 154 days is the youngest followed by Norman Whiteside (17yrs 41 days), Samuel Burnison (17 yrs 77 days), George Gaukrodger (17 yrs 99 days) and William Gibson (17yrs 146 days).
