Seven who must be extra cautious

Several Northern Ireland players will be walking a suspension tightrope tomorrow night but Sammy Clingan admits it's not something they can think about during the game.

David Healy, Warren Feeney, Kyle Lafferty, goalkeeper Maik Taylor, Jonny Evans, Michael Duff and Damien Johnson are all one caution away from an automatic ban but Clingan is hopeful it will not happen.

"It is important we come out on top and I will be just as physical as Latvia will be," he said.

"But obviously I want to stay on the right side of the referee. There's a few of the lads already on a booking but there's no way they will be taking things easy, we're here for three points and that's exactly what we're determined to get."

Northern Ireland trained in Riga yesterday and have a clean bill of health.

"From what I know of Latvia, the midfield could be where this game is won and lost and with players like David Healy, Kyle Lafferty and Warren Feeney up front we always fancy our chances of getting a goal."
