Manchester United supremo Sir Alex Ferguson can't believe Northern Ireland's goal-scoring sensation David Healy has never been sold for mega bucks!
The Old Trafford chief, who gave Healy his Premiership debut as a Red Devil, is shocked that the Killyleagh hero has not had Premier League giants paying a huge amount of money to secure his signature.
Healy, who will lead Northern Ireland's attack against Latvia tomorrow night, joined Fulham in the close season from Leeds United for only £1million.
Ferguson, a great admirer of Healy despite allowing him to leave the Theatre of Dreams, only has praise for his former striker.
Ferguson said: "He has always been a fantastic goalscorer and he's proving it now.
"I think there was a period when he wasn't getting regular football that he wasn't going to score, but the moment he gets regular football, he scores.
"It's fantastic his record at international level. It's hard to imagine he'd go on to that level when we let him go to Preston on the cheap when he was only young, when he was only 19 or 20.
"Unfortunately his value has never increased, which is surprising but he has got his chance in the Premier League now which is good.
"He deserves that, he was always a goalscorer. He has got the right application and I think he will do well at Fulham."
