Jenkins wary of Glenavon as Ballymena aim to climb table
Ross Glendinning has signed a two-year deal with Ballymena United.
The shot-stopper, who was on loan from Linfield, attracted interest from rival clubs but opted to extend his stay at the Showgrounds.
Sky Blues boss David Jeffrey said: "Ross is obviously contracted to Linfield this season, and whilst he is entitled to secure his future in the last six months of his contract, we have always done things right here and so we made our intentions clear with Linfield.
"David Healy was happy for us to negotiate with Ross and after making an offer, he considered it and subsequently agreed a two-year deal to commence at the start of next season.
"I am absolutely delighted to sign Ross on a permanent contract, he has played tremendously well and was fantastic in his role during the League Cup campaign.
"Myself and Bryan (McLoughlin) have worked with Ross before and he can only develop and get better - particular praise must go to Alan Simpson, our goalkeeping coach, who has worked very well with Ross during his time here."
