Cliftonville could count cost as Davy McDaid out of final tie
Cliftonville 6 - Ards Rangers 0
Assistant manager Peter Murray admits Cliftonville could be left counting the cost of Davy McDaid's red card on Saturday.
The striker was dismissed for appearing to lean in with his head and then barge Ards Rangers midfielder Ryan Newberry amid claims the visiting ace had made a derogatory remark sparking a scuffle which also saw Rangers' Steven Hislop sent off.
"We will have to deal with the consequences of whatever punishment comes Davy's way and he would be a big loss," said Murray, whose side will be without McDaid for tomorrow night's County Antrim Shield final.
By that stage, the hosts were four up via Joe Gormley's double and goals from Jay Donnelly and McDaid, with Martin Murray and Donnelly also netting late on.
