Danny McKee is ready to fire for Ards
Danny McKee should make his Ards debut when the Red & Blues meet Donegal Celtic in Belfast today.
The 20-year-old has joined Ards on a season-long loan from Glentoran, where he has scored seven goals in 48 appearances. McKee is no stranger to Ards, having previously played for Championship club's colts and reserves.
Ards' north Down rivals Bangor will face Harland & Wolff Welders on the Clandeboye Road. The Seasiders lost their first game of the season 1-0 to Knockbreda last Saturday.
Manager Jeff Montgomery said: "There are no easy games in this division, whether it be Knockbreda or the The Welders. We will just prepare for the Welders as normal and go again."
Institute will play their first home game back in the Championship after a year in the top flight, when they face Annagh United at the Riverside.
Loughgall will face Lurgan Celtic at Lakeview in a mid-Ulster derby, as Colly Malone returns to his club.
Armagh City will have Stefan Lavery on board for their game against Dergview. The forward has joined on loan from Dungannon Swifts.
In Championship Two, Darren Lockhart's Dundela host Moyola Park while PSNI welcome Sport & Leisure Swifts to Newforge.
The highlight of the first round of the Steel & Sons Cup sees Amateur League champions Ards Rangers host Championship One side Ballyclare Comrades, while Larne will be aiming to claim their first competitive win of the season when they host Ballymoney United. Championship One leaders Knockbreda host Bangor Swifts.
