Fermanagh & Western League round-up -December 15

The game of the day in Division 1 saw defending champions and current leaders Enniskillen Town United held 1-1 at home to Lisbellaw United in a closely contested match. Raymie Carroll got the visitors goal with Matt McAuley on target for the hosts.

James Carlin’s goal for Shelbourne wasn’t enough as they lost 3-1 at home to Tummery Athletic. Elsewhere, it finished 2-2 between Killen Rangers and Beragh Swifts - Jimmy Sproule and Ray Lindsay got the Rangers goals with Mickey Donnelly and Stephen Browne scoring for the Swifts.

In Division 2, league leaders NFC Kesh were in fine form as they beat Glebe United 4-1 Mark Jones netted a brace, while Lee Walker and Simms were also on target, before Roland Foley got a consolation strike for United.

Elsewhere, St.Patricks beat Drumquin United 4-1 while Liam Murphy’s goal wasn’t enough for Irvinestown Wanderers as they went down 3-1 at home to Strule United. The only game that took place in the Division 3 resulted in a resounding 6-1 victory for Magheraveely away to Augher Stars - Mark Davidson’s goal for the home side proving little more than a consolation.
