Fermanagh & Western League round-up November 30

With defending champions and current Division 1 leaders Enniskillen Town United not in action at the weekend, Lisbellaw United had a chance to close the gap at the top.

However, they failed to take it, after being held to a 1-1 draw away to Lisnaskea Rovers. Seamus Quigley got the goal for the former champions, with Simon Douglas scoring from the spot for Rovers.

The only other game in the top flight saw Tummery Athletic defeat Dergview Reserves in a Tyrone derby with Ryan Cunningham, Johnny Windsor, Gerard McCullagh and Enda Ferris on target for Athletic.

In Division 2, the leaders NFC Kesh defeated Maguiresbridge 3-0, while Enniskillen Santos defeated Spamount Swifts 1-0. Kevin McCauley got the only goal of the game, as Lisnarick won 1-0 at Sion Mills Rec, while Mickey McAleer scored as Irvinestown Wanderers drew 1-1 at home to Drumquin United. Strule United were 3-0 winners at home to Glebe United, while St.Patrick’s continued their good run of form when they got the better of Derrychara United 1-0.
