Six of the Boss

John Kernaghan, Rathfriland Rangers

Biggest triumph?

Winning the Division 2 league and league cup double with my nephew Glenn Moffatt at Moneyslane a few years ago.

Worst beating?

The 4-1 defeat by Darkley in my second match in charge of Moneyslane. We beat them the next three times we played them.

Best junior player ever?

He's done it a higher level of course but Lee Feeney was pure class when he signed at Moneyslane.

Best one-liner heard at a match?

It wasn't at a match, but Bill Shankly's famous quote about football being more important than life and death always sticks out.

Favourite motto?

No-one ever remembers the beaten finalists.
