South Antrim Area League round-up October 5
Division One promotion hopefuls South Antrim shocked Premier Division Ballynafeigh YM with a 6-2 win in the second round of the Ironside Cup.
South were leading 1-0 at half time, but they really came out on top in the second half with hat-tricks for Sas McNeice and Shane Matthews.
In the other cup tie, Clarawood YM failed to turn up for their tie with Clonduff YM.
Paul Hill scored twice to give Sandy Row a 2-1 lead, but Lambeg Rangers came back to draw 2-2 in the Premier Division.
There were two goals each for Armstrong, Chapman, Mullen and McDonald in Glaston's 8-1 win over newly promoted Orangefield OB III, and Belvoir FC edged out Bloomfield III 3-2.
Simon Hall scored two of the goals in a 5-0 win for FC United Lisburn over Stranmillis II in Division 1, and Lee Finlay, Gareth Shirlow and Martin Greenfield scored for Ballymacash YM II in a 3-1 win over Belvoir FC II.
Victoria Athletic eased to a 4-0 win at home to Moira Albion II, with goals from Preston Carberry (2), Craig Wallace and Matthew McNair.
In Division 2, Louis Morrison and Kyle Rea scored to give Clonduff YM II a good 2-2 draw away to Lisburn Athletic. There was goals for Raymond Clarke, Ashley Doak and Phil Bamford in the 3-1 win for Glenavy III against Lambeg Rangers II.
Ballymacash YM III edged out Carrowdore YM 4-3, with goals from Stephen Elder, Brian Brady, Matty Davis and an own goal.
Stephen Bird and Gareth Holdroyd both scored twice and Stuart Lucas got the other in the 5-1 win for FC United Lisburn II over Newtown Forest III.
