Kieran Sadlier leaves Peterborough for Sligo Rovers

Kieran Sadlier has ended his brief stay with Peterborough and joined Irish side Sligo Rovers.

Former West Ham midfielder Sadlier only joined Posh in the summer but made just one start for the club, a 4-1 Capital One Cup defeat to Charlton in August.

The 21-year-old had recently been on loan at Vanarama National League side Halifax and featured nine times during a three-month spell with the Shaymen.

Sadlier, a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, will join up with former Peterborough boss Dave Robertson at Sligo.
