Crusaders booked their place in the County Antrim Shield final against Linfield following a 1-0 win over Ballymena United at Seaview.

Crues midfielder Chris Morrow hammered in the game’s only goal in the 78th minute to end United’s hopes of retaining the trophy at the final four stage.

The final will be contested on Tuesday, December 3.

Crusaders can go into that battle with some confidence after remaining unbeaten against the Blues in their previous eight meetings.
