Fay's not quick on the draw

Dungannon Swifts boss Harry Fay will be hoping his side can build on their 1-1 weekend draw with Glentoran by taking their place in the CIS Insurance cup quarter finals tonight.

The Swifts need just a draw from their final group game against Ballymena United to move into the knock out stages. Awaiting them is an away trip to the very place where Fay is hoping the Swifts kick-started their season on Saturday - the Oval.

However, Dungannon are facing a team that have a point to prove and a manager under pressure and Fay will know that their passage into the last eight will not be an easy one.

United can still qualify if they win by three clear goals and Linfield beat Glenavon.

On the other side of the coin, a win for Glenavon could see Colin Malone's side go through if the Swifts stumble.

The only thing certain is that the Blues are through and Fay is conscious that their place in that tie with Glentoran is still in the balance.

"We only need a draw and that is dangerous," he said.

"We played well against Glentoran and hopefully we can build on that."
