Linfield were given a boost off the pitch today when model Lucy Evangelista helped show off the club's new away shirt.

Fans will get their first chance to see next season's kit at the official launch midnight tomorrow night at the club's Windsor Park superstore.

The kit will be worn for the first time in the build-up to the club’s opening Europa Cup clash on July 2.

Tomorrow's festivities start at around 9pm with music and refreshments on offer. Top of the bill will be a fashion show supported by first team players and fans.

The official training and leisurewear collection for the 2009-10 season will also be unveiled. Linfield’s home strip will remain unchanged next season.

There will be a 5-a-side football pitch set up for kids and an opportunity to score against goalkeeper Stuart Addis.

Fans can also get a photograph taken with their heroes and collect autographs on top of getting their hands on the new kit.

The kit will be available from Linfield’s Shankill Road superstore on Saturday and other independent outlets.

May McFetridge would have been a more appropriate model for their new shirt, old and a bit smelly.
