Saturday, 21 January 2012
Oran Kearney has pledged his future to Coleraine by agreeing a deal keeping him at the Showgrounds until 2015.
The former Linfield midfielder has steered the club to a top four spot in the Carling Premiership and into the IRN-BRU League Cup final with Crusaders next week.
Chairman Colin McKendry said: “Securing Oran’s future at Coleraine was is a massive boost for the club.
“He has been thoroughly professional in his approach to the job and had a fantastic impression not only on the players but the club in general.
“Things are moving in a positive direction and that is largely down to Oran.”
Kearney, who agreed a three -and-a-half year contract, said: “I am happy to commit to Coleraine. Living locally it is the right thing for me to do and I am privileged to have been given an opportunity to manage at senior level.”
The Bannsiders are also considering putting down an artificial surface at the Showgrounds.
