Little to sharpen up with Blades trial
Thursday, 2 July 2009
Former Glentoran hero Glen Little will spend the next two weeks training with Sheffield United after his release from Portsmouth.
The 33-year-old, whose contract at Fratton Park expired yesterday morning, is expected to report for pre-season training at Shirecliffe tomorrow before travelling to Malta with Kevin Blackwell's side.
The United manager said: “Glen is going to be spending some time with us and we'll see how things go. He'll be coming in with the rest of the lads and then he'll be coming abroad with us too.”
