Glenavon last night landed two major signings - striker Trevor Molloy and defender Andrew Hageman - and manager Colin Malone said: "There could be others on the way."
Molloy was an established goalscorer in the Eircom League and has returned from a stint in the Scottish Premier League with Motherwell.
Hageman was a member of the Drogheda squad which won last season's Setanta Cup.
A third signing is expected to be full-back Michael McKerr, the youngster Glenavon sold to Birmingham City in a package worth £250,000.
Malone added: "We have been going through a trying time but hopefully these new faces will help us turn things around in the New Year."
If McKerr returns it will be to the end of the season only.
