Davy Patton was the extra-time hero for Coleraine last night as his goal sealed an Irish Cup final date with holders Linfield.
The centre forward spared his side the lottery of a penalty shoot-out with the match winner in the 120th minute of the replay at the Ballymena Showgrounds.
That meant heartbreak for Donegal Celtic, whose cup adventure is now at an end after making the last four for the first time.
The Bannsiders led after Marty Hunter opened the scoring on 14 minutes, but former Coleraine striker Sean Armstrong levelled matters on the hour mark, with the second Irish Cup semi-final goal of his career before Pattton's dramatic winner.
