Swansea City have moved a step closer to capturing Northern Ireland’s newest international.
Derry City winger Niall McGinn spent the weekend as a guest of the south-Wales club and attended their derby fixture with Cardiff City on Saturday.
The Brandywell club are aware of developments and are awaiting a full proposal from Swansea before agreeing to let them speak to the 21-year-old. Celtic were linked with the former Dungannon Swifts man at the weekend, but the Scottish giants may have left it too late.
