Vote for the Championship 1 Player of the Month - October

Andy Crawford - Ballinamallard United
There is no doubt Ballinamallard United are the team of the moment. The Mallards are currently sitting on top spot and are looking good for promotion. Andy Crawford has been their main man this month, the former Linfield striker scored against Ards, Bangor and Glebe Rangers.
James Hand - Newry City
It's been a bad few days for Newry City. Not only did they lose control of top spot in the Belfast Telegraph Championship promotion battle, but they were also deducted three points for fielding an illegible player against Institute. Well, it's not all bad news. James Hand is up for our player of the month.
Dean Youle - Bangor
Bangor have proved themselves to be a genuine contender for the title this season with their 3-2 win over Newry City. The man who has stood out for them in recent weeks has been versatile defender Dean Youle.

The Belfast Telegraph are the new sponsors of the IFA Championship, and to celebrate we have hooked up with ifachampionship.com to bring you the opportunity to vote for the Fans Championship 1 Player of the Month.

We've given you five options for the month of October with a quick reminder of what our five stars have done to get their name in our exclusive list. The fantastic five fought off stiff competition from the likes of Stephen Parkhouse, Marty Verner, Aaron McKee and Paul Maguire, but we think these guys were the star turns in October.
