United legend Gregg in the spotlight for worthy cause

Have you ever wanted to ask the legendary Harry Gregg a question? Well, now you have a chance and it is all in aid of raising money for The Friends of Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital.

The former Manchester United and Northern Ireland great will be at the Whitefort Bar and Restaurant in Anderstown Road, Belfast on Friday, February 3.

The cost for entrance is just £5 with Harry ready to be quizzed on everything from his glorious past to football in the present day.

Gregg, whose opinions are always worth listening to, will no doubt have interesting thoughts on what is going on at his old club at present and whether Wayne Rooney should stay or go plus his views on the new Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill and the ongoing issue of players born here defecting to the Republic is sure to crop up.

Organised by John White and the Carryduff Manchester United Supporters Club, there will also be a sports memorabilia auction with the proceeds again going to the Cancer Centre at Belfast City hospital.

On the night you can bid for the following items: a signed Sir Alex Ferguson print, a signed Manchester United shirt, signed shirts from Wayne Rooney and Phil Jones plus signed David De Gea and Javier Hernandez prints.

For darts and snooker fans a signed Phil Taylor shirt and signed Shaun Murphy print will also be up for auction.

Tickets for the event are available at the Whitefort Bar.
