Kyle Lafferty announced his arrival at Birmingham City with a goal - and immediately allayed any fears that injury may rule him out of the Euro 2016 finals.

The Northern Ireland striker took just 16 minutes to find the net on his Brum debut after signing on loan from Norwich City, although they lost 2-1 at home to Brighton.

There had been fears that a groin injury would keep him out for six weeks, but the Fermanagh man looks fit - and sharp - ahead of this summer's tournament in France.
