Ballymena United 0 Crusaders 3

Stephen Baxter feels there is even more to come from his side despite Saturday’s lesson handed out to Ballymena United.

Three goals from Timmy Adamson, Jordan Owens and Chris Morrow (pictured) settled things at Warden Street and the return of the latter to the side was as perfectly timed as the run he made for his goal

“When you’ve a player like Chris Morrow in your team who’s a gifted footballer you have to get him fully fit and get a couple of games under his belt,” said Baxter. “He needed that and he was class in there.

“I thought we had a nice shape about us and it was hard to single one player out because I thought all 11 were simply class.”

Not a boast that Roy Walker could make about his side but he is hopeful of better.

“I set myself a target, a points tally from the first five games and it’s still possible that we get there,” he said.
