Glentoran and Linfield last night added their names to the CIS Insurance Cup semi-final line-up.

The 'Big Two' will join Crusaders and Newry City in tomorrow morning's final four draw.

Holders Glentoran knocked the Blues out of last season's competition at the semi-final stage after a penalty shoot-out at Windsor Park.

In last night's quarter-final tie against Lisburn Distillery at the international venue, the Blues were at their awesome best to record a 5-1 victory.

"It was the most comprehensive performance of the season so far," purred Linfield boss David Jeffrey.

"I told the players their attitude would have to be 100% right and their attitude was quality. To cap it all off at the end we had a Tony Adams like goal from William Murphy. People should realise that there was a fair bit of skill, it was no fluke."

Glenn Ferguson (2), Peter Thompson, Michael Gault were also on the scoresheet.

Glentoran, minus the injured Gary Hamilton, celebrated a 1-0 win over Dungannon Swifts at the Oval. Michael Halliday netted the winner however the win came at a cost as Sean Ward picked up a nasty ankle injury.
