Derry City face Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds (5.45pm) hoping not to be cut adrift near the foot of the table. Defeat for Peter Hutton's team will see them fall five points behind the hosts and increase relegation fears.

Only Limerick and Sligo Rovers have worse records this season, the Candystripes managing just three league wins in 18 attempts.

Bray, however, are just as desperate for the win following a turbulent week. Trevor Croly walked away from the manager's post to be replaced by Mick Cooke, Bray's fourth boss this season.

Hutton said: "It's a huge game. We have to start picking up points, especially playing the teams around ourselves."

New signing Mark Quigley may not be fit enough to even make the bench. Josh Daniels (illness) and Shane McEleney (heel) missed training this week, while Aaron Barry is suspended.

Captain Ryan McBride returns after suspension.
