Conor avoided big own goal
I was interested to read Cliftonville goalkeeper Conor Devlin's comments in the Belfast Telegraph that he felt the Reds had a better manager and better players than Crusaders.
Devlin might have got away with a comment like that a year and a half ago when Cliftonville won the league title but I don't think he can argue that now with the Crues being champions and top of the Premiership.
At this moment, the Crues are a class above everyone else and when they went 2-0 ahead against the Reds, Conor looked like ending up with egg on his face but Gerard Lyttle's men deserve huge credit for the way they fought back to earn a draw.
They showed great character and it was a performance that said they weren't prepared to throw in the towel. This title race isn't over by a long shot and I think neutrals want to see a compelling race. If one side is allowed to run away from the pack there will be little intrigue, excitement or drama to come. We want to see it go right down to the wire.
I still can't see the Crues being complacent though as Stephen Baxter would not allow that and he has the squad to drop players should they step off the gas.
