Coleraine still on right course insists Platt
Coleraine manager David Platt is hoping his side’s 2-1 defeat to Crusaders on Saturday will not knock his troops out of their stride as they chase a top six place.
The Bannsiders host Lisburn Distillery at the Showgrounds tonight and a home win would lift Platt’s men to within two points of the Paul Kirk’s side.
“We’ve been hard to beat over the last number of weeks,” he said.
“In the whole month of January we were only beaten twice, both by the odd goal and both in games that we should have got something from.
“That’s four wins out of six and it’s about us regrouping and trying to get three points from a tough game, especially when we are at home.
“I can take encouragement from our second half performance against Crusaders and with a little fortune we could have got something from the game.”
The Whites will be without suspended goalkeeper Philip Matthews.
