Ballinamallard are flying high after Ryan Campbell secures safety
Coleraine 1-2 Ballinamallard
The Mallards are winging their way to another season of top flight football.
With their survival now assured thanks to Ryan Campbell's strikes either side of Jamie McGonigle's stunning leveller at Coleraine, boss Whitey Anderson is delighted to have proved the doubters wrong.
He said: "We're coming back for a fourth season and that's fantastic. Many people thought that we would struggle to stay up first time round but we showed them that we are a better team than they thought.
"We are probably the smallest club in the Premiership - a small club with a big heart.
"We are from a tiny village but we are a close knit bunch. Everyone pulls together. There are some great people around the club and that's what makes it so special."
The Bannsiders have managed only three league wins on their own patch and once again boss Oran Kearney was left to bemoan his side's lack of goalscoring prowess.
"I have no issue with the work ethic of the players or indeed their attitude. Its in the final third where we fall down," he said.
