Fast healer Bradley feeling good at buoyant Bannsiders

Coleraine 2 Glentoran 0

By Simon Mulligan

From the moment Eoin Bradley was carried off with a horrific injury in mid-January, he was itching to get back in Coleraine colours - and it's clear to see why.

The Bannsiders made it 10 wins in an 11 game unbeaten streak with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Glentoran on Saturday, with Bradley - who suffered a punctured lung after colliding with a post in January - opening the scoring before Jamie McGonigle wrapped things up.

"My consultant told me I'd be out for eight weeks but I was back in the gym after less than two," said Bradley.

"I'm a fast healer and it is great being back in a side full of real talent.

"Scoring goals is what I do. We are creating chances and that always gives me opportunities.

"This probably wasn't the prettiest game to watch but we did enough to secure the points and keep the push on for a top three finish.

"Things can turn against you so quickly in football. Oran Kearney rightly deserves the plaudits coming his way just now for what he has achieved."
