Kearney hails his Coleraine boys after bagging eighth win on the spin
Coleraine 2-1 Dungannon Swifts
Coleraine are on the march - and they have a spring in their step.
It's now EIGHT wins in a row for the Bannsiders and their boss Oran Kearney who was crowned Manager of the Month for January.
Coleraine recovered from a 1-0 half-time deficit to beat 10-man Dungannon Swifts 2-1 in the Premiership game at Ballycastle Road on Saturday.
"This was as tough as we have had it," admitted a relieved Kearney.
"The Swifts always put on a performance here and we had to graft hard.
"I'm impressed, but not surprised by the work rate my players put in. There is a real momentum about us at the moment and that was evident."
Ryan Harpur gave the visitors the lead from the penalty spot but Darren McCauley equalised with another penalty in the second half. Seanan Clucas was sent-off for kicking out on the hour and substitute James McLaughlin scored the winner.
Coleraine, who remain fourth in the table, also lost Ian Parkhill early in the game, stretchered off following Dougie Wilson's challenge. Swifts boss Rodney McAree admitted the departure of midfielder Clucas was a game-changer.
"We had got ourselves into a good position in the game but conceded a penalty and then Seanan got his marching orders. I don't think we could argue with the card, to be honest," he said.
