Finish the job: Paul Heatley wants Crusaders to beat Cliftonville and win back-to-back titles

Crusaders skipper Colin Coates has revealed that world champion boxer Carl Frampton has been an inspirational force for the history making Irish League champions.

The Crues, who earlier this week retained the title for the first time ever, will be presented with the Gibson Cup at Seaview tomorrow following their home game against Coleraine.

It promises to be a special occasion for everyone connected with Crusaders including their most famous fan Frampton.

Coates said: "It's incredible to have Carl Frampton supporting us. He is known all over the world and is always putting our club in the spotlight.

"It's great when you see him at games because you want to put in a performance for him. He is a real inspiration to the team.

"He texted me the morning after we won the title to say well done to all the lads.

"We are all proud of what he has achieved and I know he is proud that Crusaders have won the title again."
