Crusaders' Josh Robinson is set to move to Vanarama National League side York City.

The Seaview club announced they had agreed a financial package from York City for the defender.

The 22-year-old signed for Crusaders in August 2012 and during his four seasons played 124 games scoring nine goals.

He was part of the club's back-to-back Gibson Cup wins and also played in the Europa League and Champions League for the north Belfast side.

York were recently relegated from the football league to what was known as the Conference at the end of last season. The Ministermen are managed by former Celtic player Jackie McNamara.

Crusaders said they have accepted a financial package from York in respect of Josh Robinson in lieu of the FIFA international transfer.

A club statement said: "Josh leaves Crusaders with the best wishes of the entire club, and it is hoped he can fulfill his ambitions in full time football."
