Josh Robinson has completed his move from Crusaders to York City.

The centre-back has agreed a two-year deal at Bootham Crescent.

The 22-year-old becomes Jackie McNamara's ninth summer signing after the Danske Bank Premiership champions were able to agree financial compensation. Former Northern Ireland under-21 international Robinson spent the last four seasons with the Crues after leaving Rangers.

In total, he made 124 appearances for Crusaders, scoring nine goals.

The Minstermen, managed by former Celtic player Jackie McNamara, are hoping to earn promotion back to League Two after being relegated this season.

Robinson has now got his chance to impress in full-time football.
