Haveron: We aren't afraid of hurt Linfield
Glentoran boss Gary Haveron has warned Linfield that his boys won't fear them tomorrow - whether they are a wounded animal or not.
The Blues slipped seven points behind Premiership leaders Crusaders in the title race after suffering a 1-0 loss to Coleraine on Tuesday and that result has cranked up the pressure going into the Irish Cup fifth-round showdown against the Glens at The Oval.
"It'll be an incredibly hard game for us," said The Oval chief.
"Linfield will be huge favourites, as they should be for a team sitting in the top two in the table, but we won't fear anybody.
"There's no inferiority complex from us either. We want to take the Portadown result (5-0 win on Tuesday) and build on it. If we turn up and play anywhere near like we did we'll be a match for anybody.
"I don't read too much into Linfield's result on Tuesday night. Saturday will be a completely different game. We drew at Windsor on Boxing Day and it was no more than we deserved."
