Institute plan their route to the top six

Institute will go to New Grosvenor tonight minus two key players as they bid to cement their place in the JJB Sports Premiership’s top six.
But they will at least have the benefit of their boss on the touchline.
Striker Kevin Ramsey and influential midfielder James Quigley are both suspended for the clash with Lisburn Distillery where if results go their way, they could go five points clear of Cliftonville in the race to make it into the top half before the split.
The Reds are at home to Glentoran and defeat for them would give John Gregg’s men a superb opportunity to, against all odds, be mixing it with the big boys next month, so long as they hold up their side of the bargain.
Gregg, too was also due to be serving a four-match ban after he was sent off for protesting Linfield’s last gasp winning goal at Windsor Park a few weeks ago.
However the Stute hierarchy have decided to appeal the decision and so Gregg will be driving his boys on, at least until his appeal is heard.
The Whites look to have secured their place in the top six already with a ten point gap having opened up between them and seventh, however Paul Kirk’s men have been known to have a blip here and there throughout the campaign so they will not be resting on their laurels, especially against an in-form Stute side.
