Kelly tells Hoops to tighten up at back

Paddy Kelly is setting his sights high this season - but only if his men can stop leaking goals.

The Hoops hosted Crusaders in a seven-goal thriller last weekend with the boys from the north of the city netting a 4-3 victory.

The Suffolk Road faithful are now licking their lips at the prospect of a feast of goals, but as Limavady United arrive in west-Belfast today, Celtic chief Kelly wants to experience thrills rather than spills.

"I didn't expect to concede four goals and we'll need to tighten up," he said.

"I am always confident we will score goals, but mistakes will hurt us.

"The expectation on us this season is to do a lot better and finish a lot higher than last time out.

" We want to do well in the cup competitions and a win today would give us a chance to reach the knockout stages.

"People are writing off Limavady, but I would never write anyone off. At times they made life difficult for Cliftonville last week."
