Lafferty’s aiming to break Hearts again

Kyle Lafferty has enjoyed mixed fortunes against Hearts this season and is therefore determined to help Rangers celebrate another success against them this weekend.
Summer signing Lafferty netted his first goal for the Ibrox club in August’s 2-0 victory over the Jambos but was part of a collective malaise in November’s 2-1 defeat at Tynecastle.
Rangers will be looking to put Sunday’s Co-operative Insurance League Cup final agony behind them on Saturday when they host Hearts in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
With conquerors Celtic not playing until Sunday, Walter Smith’s men can return to the top of the SPL with a victory at Ibrox.
Northern Ireland striker Lafferty said: "This season, we have had mixed fortunes against them.
“At Ibrox in August, we played well and won 2-0.
"I also managed to score my first goal for the club so that game will always stick in my mind.
"But then we went to Tynecastle at the end of November and suffered a 2-1 defeat. We didn’t get going that day and Hearts probably deserved to win.
"So we know only too well what we need to do this weekend.
”We need to roll up our sleeves and get on with it."
